What's with the name change?
We are excited to share that Mrs Elemental® USA (formerly Mrs USA Earth) is now the official USA preliminary to the Mrs Elemental® pageant! While we were Mrs USA Earth, our system was a stand-alone program only in the USA. In 2024, we announced the official affiliation with Elemental International Pageants--giving the national winner an official international competition to advance to. With this new affiliation, our "last name" changed from Earth to Elemental!
When and where will the 2026 national pageant take place?
The national pageant is slated to take place in January 2026. The official host city and dates will be announced in the coming months here on the website under the NATIONAL PAGEANT page, as well as across all of our social media pages! What are the national competition categories?
All delegates will compete in ICONIC Impact Service Project, Charitable Giving, Photogenic, Interview, Activewear, and Evening Gown. Competition category details are provided to confirmed delegates of the competition.
When and where will the 2025 state pageants take place?
The state pageants typically take place throughout the spring and summer and can be found HERE once announced. Be sure to follow Mrs Elemental® USA on both Facebook and Instagram as we announce dates and points of contact for each state!
What are the state competition categories?
All state contestants will compete in ICONIC Impact Service Project, Photogenic, Interview, Activewear, and Evening Gown. Competition category details are provided to confirmed delegates of the competition.
Has Mrs Elemental® USA done away with the swimsuit competition?
No! We have decided to make activewear (sportswear) a mandatory area of competition for all delegates, and the swimwear competition will be available as an optional competition. This way, delegates who would like the opportunity to showcase in swimwear still have the option to do so and an opportunity to be recognized. As an optional competition, it will have no bearing on the overall competition results.
I wanted to compete this year, but the state I live in is already taken. Do I have to wait until next year?
No! There are quite a few states that are open for at-large entry, meaning you do not have to live in the state to represent it and compete at nationals! At-large titles awarded hold the same weight and prestige as titles awarded at a state pageant!
Is there a minimum age requirement to enter?
Yes. Delegates must be at least 21 years old as of December 31, 2025 to enter.
Are you required to be married to compete?
Yes. Delegates must be legally married (not common law) and not separated or a party of any divorce proceedings This rule applies to the delegates entire reign as a state, national, and/or international titleholder. There are Miss, Teen, and Ms divisions available at the international level. Find out more at www.elementalpageants.com
Is there a rule regarding having children?
No! Delegates are welcome to enter--whether they have children or not.
Is there a height or weight requirement?
No! We are women and we come in all shapes and sizes. All of those shapes and sizes are welcome to compete!
How much does it cost to compete?
The total entry fee is $1800 if paid in full (this includes a discount). Travel, accommodations, and meals are the responsibility of the delegate. Most wardrobe is provided for you!
Are application or entry fees refundable?
All fees and payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
Do I have to pay my entry fee in full up front?
No! Your entry fee can be paid right away so that you don't have to worry about it anymore, or you can break your entry fee up into payments. More information is provided in your title offer if you receive one.
If I enter a state pageant and win, do I still have to pay an entry fee?
No! Entering and winning a state pageant automatically enters you into the national pageant competition. You will only be responsible for the wardrobe fee portion of the entry fee. Fees for the 2026 pageant will be provided to confirmed delegates at a later date.
My state doesn't have a state pageant. Can I still compete at the national competition?
Yes! If you live in or would like to represent a state that does not have a state pageant, you can be interviewed and considered for an appointed title!
I entered a state pageant and did not win, but I would still like to compete at nationals. Is that possible?
Yes! You can contact the national office or Delegate Coordinator if you would like to represent an available state that does not have a state pageant. You can be interviewed and considered for an appointed title! You would pay your entry fees directly to the national office to enter if offered a title.
If I accept an appointed state title, does that mean I am on my own?
No! Being offered an appointed state title has the same prestige as a title that was awarded in a competition. Even though you don't have a state director to report to, you will have a Delegate Coordinator who will be your point of contact! They will be available to help guide you through your prep for nationals.
Are titles binding? If so, for how long?
Yes! State/territory titles and the national title of Mrs Elemental® USA are binding for one (1) year or until you crown your successor--whichever comes first. Elemental titles have the option to be non-binding or binding for six months.
What are Elemental Titles?
Elemental titles are equally ranked national-level titles awarded to the Top 4 participating delegates of the national competition. Titles include Mrs Elemental® Air, Mrs Elemental® Water, Mrs Elemental® Fire, and Mrs Elemental® Eco. Elemental titleholders are still eligible to recompete the following year and beyond, as long as they continue to meet eligibility requirements. All Elemental titleholders are awarded the Elemental sash with no required commitment to Elemental duties. Should an Elemental titleholder opt to commit to the six-month binding title, she will also receive the Elemental crown and additional prizes! Learn more
